An uninspired & underused garden - the owner wanted something to enjoy looking at and spending time in.
After an initial scrape, the first lines are drawn out & the beginnings of the design ideas take shape on the ground.
The main pond is dug and the liner weighted down whilst it fills.
Sinuous curves were required for this pond. Not an easy thing to achieve, but the skilled landscapers at Green & Gorgeous made short work of it.
The completed garden. The pond sits beautifully within the planting. The grey sandstone contrasts well with the buff gravel and both sit back to allow the plants to do the talking.
The terracotta urn nestles amongst the cobbles and creates a soothing sound of running water. Fish thrive in the pond and the planting is already getting going.
