Our first foray into television.  We were contacted by the makers of the programme Kevin McCloud’s ManMade Shed. They were filming the last stages of the programme and needed a mature wildflower meadow to complete the staging. Cue Green & Gorgeous ….

 The ‘shed’ had been completed, but it looked a little plonked in the landscape.  The programme makers needed a mature wildflower meadow, and they needed it now!

 On the hottest day of the year, the whole Green & Gorgeous team turned up to take delivery of multiple articulated lorry loads of mature Wildflower Turf. Being delivered at over 1.2m tall, the transport and handling of the turf was a challenge,

On the hottest day of the year, the whole Green & Gorgeous team turned up to take delivery of multiple articulated lorry loads of mature Wildflower Turf. Being delivered at over 1.2m tall, the transport and handling of the turf was a challenge, particularly in the heat! Two of the team here keep a sense of humour about the 9.30pm finish ….

 Once laid it did immediately make the landscape look like it had been untouched during construction of the shed!
