Step Re-Design

The client was looking to remodel the main entrance to the garden, a set of uneven, dangerous steps made for difficult access. A full redesign of the steps including reducing the riser height, increasing the number of steps and adding bespoke iron railings transformed the entrance to the space.

Project Year: 2018

Project Cost: £2,501 - £5,000

Country: United Kingdom

Postcode: BA3

Before: The steps were uneven, steep, dangerous and overgrown.

The new steps are constructed using the original stone, sandstone slabs cut into the curve forming a smart entrance. A bespoke iron railing to provides support wrapping around the tradtional stone planters. (Ironwork by Alex Relph)
